My name is Siôn Rees, I’m 19 years old and I am currently studying a BA Hons. in Graphic Communications, at the Cardiff School of Art and Design. I have been interested in Graphic Design and Photography since the age of 12.
Recently I have worked on expanding my knowledge and portfolio by carrying out work experience with Pentagon Design, based in Bridgend, as well as Peacock Design, based in Central London. I have also worked as a photographic assistant, carrying bags and lugging props around.
After completing my work experience I learned it’s not all about creating pretty pictures, but that you have to be able to communicate through your work.
In 2008, I was hired as a junior, part-time designer for Pentagon Design Ltd. and still am to this day.
