Is attending a wedding fayre manly?

So, I’m sat here, with the timer running, and Zen is sleeping just behind my chair, being vocal in her dreams.

She does this every time she sleeps. It’s pitiful when you can hear distressed howls coming from her basket – because then you know she’s having a nightmare.

On a slightly more up beat note, we were walking around the block once, and an ice cream van passed us with the van music playing. Zen stopped in her tracks and just started howling like a wolf, and singing along with the song. It was very bizarre and quite amusing. The first time I’d heard her make a noise like that.

Anyway, even though I decided to allow myself 60 minutes every Sunday to write a new post, I’ve set myself 15 minutes this morning to write a ‘filler post’, purely to populate the blog a little before I decided to share it out there, and give people the opportunity to read my thoughts.

7 Minutes remaining.

Today I’ll be attending my first wedding fair. I’m actually waiting for Lauren to get back from her eyelash appointment before we go.

I’m not sure if this is a manly thing to do, or is it something a gay best friend would be more apt at attending? – It’s ironic really, considering it’s me and my fiancée that will be the ones getting married. Either way, I feel maybe I should be spending my time watching the highlights from the Fury v Wilder fight, (spoiler: Fury wins via TKO in the 7th), or maybe I should be updating my fantasy league team ready for game week 28, but there we go. Instead, I’m sat here preparing myself to turn my nose up at any wedding band that has a Kings of Leon or The Killers track in the repertoire. (More on that in another post).

Well, it also looks like I’ve now run out of time, but before I end this post…

Does anyone else think it’s not very manly to attend a wedding fair?
